Summer Camps 2026

This summer I have decided to start with the younger, less experienced crowd. Both the camps will be classified as OPEN which includes everyone but is mainly focused on non-rep players. As always, I will make concessions for siblings and scheduling as all participants are encouraged to focus on their own development.

The second half of the summer will be for the older competitive crowd where camps will focus on preparing for the upcoming season. As with most of my camps, these camps will also be puck free. At this level and age I would expect a faster more skilled crowd, committed to learning and improving.

Registration for all camps will open on Wednesday May 13th at 6:00pm.

U9 to U12 - OPEN

Location: Invista Centre, CUPE 109 pad, Kingston, Ontario

Time: 6:00am - 6:50am

Dates: Tuesdays June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and July 7th (6 sessions)

Age Group: U9 to U12 Any Level, 2026/2027 season.

Boys and girls

Session Cap: 12 skaters

Cost: 7 Sessions $240.00 HST Included

This camp is listed as OPEN to give everyone the opportunity to skate it but I expect the speed and intensity to be a level that will push all levels. Especially at this age, edges play a huge role in my camps and this one will be no different, as we will need them to move on to more complex skills like crossovers, turns, pivots and transitions. Of course, forward striding, starts, stops and acceleration will be covered both forwards and backwards. This a good all around camp for anyone looking to improve their skating base and add some new skills in the process.

U7 to U9 - OPEN Camp

Dates: Thursdays June 4, 11, 18, 25, July 2 and 9 (6 Sessions)

Age Group: U7 to U9, 2026/2027 Season.

Boys and girls

Level: OPEN, any level

Session Cap: 12 skaters

Cost: $240.00 HST

This camp will focus on the raw basics. Most players start in IP and are given a puck far too early in their development. Forcing them to learn to skate AND learn to handle a puck at the same time. Both of these skills on their own are incredibly hard to learn and so we run our camps at the level devoid of pucks to give your player the ability to focus on their feet. Learning proper skills and posture so that they can develop the more technical skills once the basics are mastered. This camp will focus on edges, forward and backwards skating, proper crossovers, turns and pivots.

U9 to U13 Rep and Up,

This camp is listed as Rep and up, so it includes Roster Select and Up. It is essentially the same as my regular camp only we will push the skaters further in their development, breaking down technique in striding, backwards skating, crossovers both directions and of course turns and pivots. my expectation level is all that changes. This will be a faster paced session in both difficulty and speed of execution.
