Focused Skating Winter Camp Update.

We have completed 3 sessions of the Winter Skating Camp and have already seen some improvements with everyeone’s edges. We have one more forward striding session and then it’s on to everyone’s favourite, backward skating.

We have analysis videos to finish for the two participants who have had injuries or been ill for the first part of the session and then everyone will have one to keep and watch when needed. In this round of videos, I highlighted things that were being done correctly and then gave each of the skaters some tips and pointers for areas of focus when we were working on our forward striding. The videos have been well received and most, if not all,are trying to work on the areas of concern.

That’s it for now. I will post again and kee everyone update in week 5.
