COVID19 and Fall Programs.

I have a couple of quick updates.

First, the City of Kingston has started to release information on available ice times for the fall. Some of them are in the first weeks of September, so the thought would be that I would book ice and start a program the same time as the school year. However, I feel that the first two to three weeks of school will be a bit hectic and stressful for most families, so I feel that starting any of my programs before the first week in October would be a mistake. COVID19 protocols are hard to understand and administrate at the best of times and if there is some form of serge as the school year kicks into gear, we all might be in a different place.

I am available for team practice work and have been on the ice in Napanee and the protocols there seem agreeable and to work well. It is my hope that the City of Kingston's would be similar. Private sessions are an option as well and I am more than happy to discuss any opportunities in that respect.

I have spent a lot of time over the break, researching and acquiring some new video equipment, in order to improve the clarity and crispness of our videos. New angles, gimbal technology and all videos recorded in, at least 720p @ 240 fps and 1080p @ 120fps, will make our technique review videos much easier to watch and improvements in our sound equipment will boost volumes and add to the audio quality as well. Drills have been adjusted and refined to keep sessions moving, distanced and exciting as well. I am very excited to get back on the ice to deliver a top notch program and will update everyone via this blog, our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as the Wix app. Please choose your favorite mode of social media, like and follow for our latest news.

As always, Thank You for your time and patience.
