SPEED Camp Overview
Over the years, SPEED Camp has been one of the most popular camps I run. It is usually a short, intense camp with two or three skates a week, over the course of a week or two. This March, I have 5 Monday mornings and 5 Tuesday mornings to run SPEED Camps for two separate age groups. As spring hockey and tryouts are just around the corner and because there is a week between each skate, all participants will be sent a set of off-ice drills to do, in preparation for and in conjunction with the camp.
REGISTRATION FOR BOTH CAMPS WILL OPEN MONDAY, JANUARY 26TH, 7:00PM EST.
Camp Objectives
The entire purpose of these camps will be to make lasting changes in stride length, technique, and balance so we can increase all participants' overall speed and power. If each drill is pushed to each player's full capacity, skaters will see improvements in speed and quickness.
